More Than Wine: The Story of Three Brothers Wineries and Estates

Step back in time with us to September 2007. That's when Three Brothers Wineries and Estates first opened its doors, a dream brought to life by husband and wife Dave and Luanne Mansfield from Honeoye Falls, NY.

When the Mansfields purchased the land in 2006, the top of Seneca Lake wasn't the bustling wine destination it is today. Concerned about attracting visitors without many neighboring wineries, Dave had a brilliant idea: build three distinct wine tasting rooms on one estate. His vision paid off! Today, we're proud to be the most visited winery in the Finger Lakes.

A Trio of Tastes, A World of Themes

While Dave's brothers were the initial inspiration, they were never involved in the business. Instead, the concept of "three brothers" evolved into something much deeper for us: a celebration of variety and shared experiences. Each of our unique wineries offers a different theme and type of wine, ensuring there's something for every palate:

• Stony Lonesome Wine Cellars is where you'll find all of our estate wines, proudly bearing the Three Brothers label.

• Passion Feet Wine Cellars honors bold, brazen, and brilliant women. Here, we serve semi-sweet to sweet blended wines, and yes, we feature a refreshing wine slushie!

• Bagg Dare Wine Company brings a bayou-themed tasting room to life, serving up sweet blended wines with a sense of humor.

And it's not just about wine! In 2007, we expanded our offerings with an onsite brewery, now known as War Horse Brewing Company, proudly honoring our military heroes.
